How we handle your data

Your data is yours

Below you will find, in short, how we handle your personal information. The full text is in the privacy policy

  • We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or give your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Name, email, private events and collaborators stay yours: we do not build advertising profiles.

  • GDPR and data protection

We process data according to the GDPR, the European data protection regulation. The connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored with BCrypt hashing and you can delete your account whenever you want.

Data is stored on a server in Germany, run by the hosting provider named in the privacy policy. Every night we make an encrypted backup copy of it. Providers, transfers and retention periods are described in the privacy policy.

  • Control over your data

From your profile you can download your data in an Excel file, correct your profile data and permanently delete your account.

For the other GDPR rights (restriction, objection, data the file does not contain) write to info@playtheevent.com: the GDPR rights page explains how.

  • Where to read the privacy policy

The full privacy policy shows the date of its last update and the list of providers that receive data.

  • Security

Encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords stored with BCrypt hashing, a limit on the number of requests to protect logins and an encrypted backup copy every night.

  • AI on our own server

When one of our tools uses artificial intelligence, the model runs on the platform's server in Germany: no external AI provider receives your requests or your event data.
