Why we exist

Our mission

Play the Event helps anyone organize events and trips, from idea to plan, with no technical skills; and works so that every event brings life to places in every season, together with the people who host it.

Our manifesto

What we believe

  1. Organizing should not take an expert.

If you need to understand how Play the Event is built to use it, the mistake is ours.

  2. An event belongs to everyone who lives it.

The people who organize it, the guests, the volunteers, the places that host it.

  3. A place does not live on one season alone.

A food festival in autumn, a concert in winter, a gathering in spring are a reason to travel when people usually stay home.

  4. Events are made together.

Associations, planners, suppliers, places to stay, restaurants and towns work better when they meet in the same place.

  5. We say what exists and what does not exist yet.

What is not there yet we mark as "coming", with no dates we cannot keep.

  6. No number without a method.

When we show data about a place, it will only be group data, never about one person, and any group with fewer than ten cases will stay "insufficient data".

  7. More visitors off-season must not mean more harm.

If an event costs a place more than it gives back, it is not a success.

  8. Truly accessible.

Clear words, measured contrast, everything usable from a keyboard too.

How we do it

From words to facts

Three concrete choices that come from the manifesto.

  • One place, from idea to plan

Guests, expenses, deadlines and places live in the same event, instead of being scattered across spreadsheets, chats and emails.

What we do

Two halves of the same story

  • Organizing events and trips

For people who organize: the one place where an event goes from idea to plan.

    Organizing events and trips
  • Year-round events

For hosts: we work so that events become a reason to visit in every season.

The tools for places to stay, restaurants and towns are being built.

    Year-round events
  • The bridge

Organizers create events, hosts need events. On Play the Event it is the same event.

Who is behind it
