Frequently asked questions
How do you calculate medals for a sports event?
Multiply the number of categories by the podium places (gold, silver, bronze). For team events, multiply by the number of team members. Add a 10% reserve for extra medals or special awards.
How much do medals and trophies cost for a sports event?
As an indication, basic zinc or aluminium medals cost around €2-5 each, brass or silver ones €8-20. Trophies range from €10 (resin) to over €100 (crystal or metal). For an amateur tournament with 100 participants, a prize budget of €300-600 is a reasonable reference.
Where can you order custom trophies and medals for sports events?
Specialized trophy suppliers and local engravers produce custom awards with your logo and engraving. Order at least 3-4 weeks ahead for customized items and 2 weeks ahead for standard catalog items.
