How it works
Fill in your event's details (type, venue, number of attendees, date) and the tool will identify the main operational, legal and safety risks. For each risk you get a probability and impact rating, together with the recommended preventive actions.
Frequently asked questions
How do I do a risk assessment for an event?
List every possible issue (weather, technical, safety, legal, reputational), rate each one for likelihood and potential impact, then define preventive actions and contingency plans.
What are the main risks when organising an event?
The most common risks are: cancellation due to bad weather or emergencies, audio-visual failures, low turnout, injuries to attendees, breaches of safety regulations and problems with suppliers. Plan a fallback for each of them.
Is a safety plan mandatory for events?
It depends on the country and the size of the event. In Italy, public events above certain attendance thresholds require a safety plan submitted to the local authorities and, for larger crowds, licensed security staff. Check the thresholds that apply to your event with the local authorities before you plan.
