Event Feedback Analyzer: Recurring Words and Phrases

Paste attendee feedback and see the words and phrases that come up most often, ranked by weight.

How it works

Paste your attendees' written comments, one per line. The tool extracts the words and phrases that come up most often and ranks them by weight, so you can see at a glance what people talk about most, for example catering, venue or speakers. It does not split the comments into clusters and does not say whether they are positive or negative: to find out, read the comments that contain the words at the top of the list.

Frequently asked questions

How are the topics found?

The tool looks at how often words and phrases appear in the comments and how distinctive they are in the text, and returns the most relevant ones with a percentage weight. It does not start from predefined categories and does not read the tone of the comments.

How many comments do I need?

The tool works with just a few comments, but with ten or so lines the recurring words are few and not very telling; with a few dozen comments the list becomes more useful. If the text is too long the tool tells you: in that case split it into several parts.

Can I compare topics across different events?

Yes, by analysing the comments of each event separately and comparing the lists: words that come back at every event point to things to work on every time, words that appear only once point to a problem on that day.
