Frequently asked questions

How do you check whether an event is ready to run?

Make sure every critical area has reached a minimum level: contracts signed, venue confirmed, staff briefed, communications sent, technical setup tested, catering confirmed, a plan B in place and legal paperwork in order.

What should you check in the week before an event?

Reconfirm all suppliers, send the final briefing to staff, test the technical equipment, check registrations and prepare the operational materials (attendee list, badges, staff kits). Do a site visit at the venue.

What are the signs that an event is not ready?

Warning signs: contracts still unsigned less than 30 days before the event, communications not yet started, staff not confirmed, no plan B, technical equipment untested or legal paperwork missing.
