Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate the ROI of an event?
Event ROI is calculated with the formula: (Revenue - Costs) / Costs × 100. A positive ROI means the event generated more value than it cost. Include both direct revenue and indirect value such as leads and brand value.
What is a good ROI for a corporate event?
There is no universal benchmark: a good ROI depends on the goal you set before the event. Any positive ROI means the event paid for itself. For lead generation events, also consider the lifetime value of the customers you acquire, not just immediate revenue.
How do I measure the success of an event?
Measure success by combining quantitative KPIs (ROI, cost per lead, conversion rate) with qualitative ones (NPS, attendee satisfaction, media coverage). Set your goals before the event so you can evaluate it objectively.
